President, Hon Rob Knowles, AO
Rob is a farmer and company director. He is the chair of the Mental Health Council of Australia, chair of Food Standards Australia New Zealand and is on the board of the Victorian Trauma Foundation and Royal District Nursing Service SA. He is a former Victorian Minister for Health and has a strong interest in services for people with mental illness and their families and carers. He was a commissioner on the National Health and Hospital Reform Commission, which reported to Government in June 2009. Rob was awarded an Order of Australia in 2007.

Vice President, Hon Frank Walker QC
Frank is president of Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW. He has been a government minister at state and federal levels. In NSW, he has held portfolios including Attorney General, Minister for Housing and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs. A barrister by training, he was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1981. He was appointed Judge in the NSW Compensation Court in 2001.

Treasurer and Secretary, Bronwyn Russell
Bronwyn is president of Mental Health Carers NT. She has a psychology background and has worked in the funeral industry, in vocational rehabilitation, managed the NT palliative care program and still works in reproductive medicine while being the division director for Engineers Australia Northern Division. She has experienced mental illness at the front line with family members and hopes to make a difference for other families.
