Support for Families

MIFWA's Family Support Program  supports the person with the mental illness and the whole family. Please click on the link to download the program brochure.

Support for parents living with mental illness

MIFWA's Parent Peer Support Program  provides support for parents living with mental illness by trained Parent Peer Support Workers.  These workers have a direct lived experience of what it is like to be a parent with mental illness and are at a point in their recovery where they can offer hope and support to families in similar circumstances. 

Lorikeet Centre 

Lorikeet Centre Rehabilitation Program  is a psychosocial rehabilitation service and offers fellowship, social, emotional support, a modified work day and recreation to people with mental illness. Please click on the link to download the program brochure.

Youth Services

MIFWA's Early Intervention Recovery Program (EIRP)  is for young people who have just experienced an early episode of psychosis. Please click on the link to download the program brochure.

Support for Smokers with mental illness

The Tobacco Free Program is for people with mental illness who are in the local community, hostels and rehabilitation units. Please click on the link to download the program brochure.
