The Haven, Gladstone

The Haven on Herbert Street in Gladstone is a Hub House for people with mental illness to find social support with others who share similar experiences.

Members enjoy getaway holidays, multicultural functions and TAFE courses, with an emphasis on strengthening the recovery process for participants. You will have the opportunity to produce art of all forms. In fact, The Haven regularly showcases the impressive talents of its members in an art exhibition as part of Schizophrenia Awareness Week.

Other events throughout the year have focused on community inclusion and interaction, producing some very positive outcomes in the lives of participants.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.

To become a member of the Hub House you must be diagnosed with a mental illness.
