Join us in recognising and celebrating the journey to recovery throughout Mental Health Week. Its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the wider community, to increase community awareness and education about mental health issues and to encourage participation in life enhancing lifestyles.

"Lets Unscrew the Taboo TOO" Following on from last year's successful Art Exhibition titled "Lets Unscrew the Taboo on Mental Illness", this year there will be works from people who have suffered from mental illness and other "taboo" things. Luncheon: Keynote Speaker Helen Glover "Believe it or not I want to work" Helen Glover lectures and provides training nationally and internationally in the area of mental health and recovery-oriented practice. She uses her professional background in social work and education as well as her lived experience of her own recovery from mental illness to educate, encourage and inspire audiences the world over. |
