Welcome to the Mental Illness Fellowship of Queensland’s website! This site has been developed in partnership with the Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia and contains links with all of the states' Fellowships across Australia, creating a more cohesive national network.

In 2012, the Fellowship will be holding a number of events to celebrate Schizophrenia Awareness Week in May.
21st Annual Art Exhibition, 'From Dark to Light'
In 2012, the Mental Illness Fellowship of Queensland is celebrating our 21st Annual Art Exhibition. This year, our extravagant event will showcase the talents of 140 Artists with a lived experience of mental illness and display approximately 300 pieces of artwork. Most of the artwork on show is for sale and prices range from $25 to $5000.

WHERE: King George Square
COST: Gold Coin donation
For your chance to be one of the first to purchase one of these incredible pieces, join us in celebrating the festivities at our Opening Night Cocktail Party on Friday 11 May. This is a ticketed event and each guest will receive a drink on arrival and an assortment of canapés. Guests will enjoy music and speeches and will be captivated by the beautiful artwork for sale.
Annual Community Walk on the Gold Coast

The Mental Illness Fellowship of Queensland Annual Community Walk on the Gold Coast will be held on Saturday 19 May to celebrate Schizophrenia Awareness Week in 2012.

TIME: Walk to commence at 10:00am
WHERE: Broadwater Parklands, Marine Pde, Southport
COST: $12.00 per person or $30.00 per family
