MIFSA on the move

The past few months have seen a constant buzz around the MIFSA office as doors opened at our Mt Gambier, Reynella and at our new Wayville office.

It's all part of MIFSA's continued strong growth and expansion into new parts of South Australia.

The new address for our Wayville site is 5 Cooke Terrace, Wayville.

New Residential Respite Program funding allows increase in service

The MIFSA Respite Team is very pleased to announce that we have been successful in securing a tender with the National Respite Development Fund, which will allow us to develop a Residential Respite Accommodation Program (RRAP) or a MIFSA Respite House.

This program will complement our existing respite services and provide another innovative respite option for Carers and Care Recipients.

The Respite House is based on a strong partnership model and is supported by the two Commonwealth Carer Respite Centres in the Adelaide Metropolitan area and the Southern Adelaide Health Service (SAHS), Mental Health Division, who will work together with MIFSA to develop and deliver services based on the needs of the community.
