MIFSA Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) Programs
An Australian Government initiative
Our Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) Programs support people whose mental illness severely affects their lives. We focus on what can be achieved rather than what can’t and work together with individuals towards rehabilitation and recovery.
People who are 16 years or over and feel that their mental illness gets in the way of achieving their goals are invited to join the program and work with their own Personal Helper and Mentor who will support them with their individual recovery journey.
To Join
Eligibility criteria do apply, however you do not need a medical diagnosis of mental illness to join the PHaMs Program. Contact the PHaMs team located closest to you for further information:
